Wedding Budget Decisions

Despite the economic slump, people are still getting married. You Brides and Grooms can bask in the fact that you do a lot to help the economy and may have a major influence in brining it to full recovery. Many people may tend to think that because of economic hardship, you might not get married at all. You're actions have suggested otherwise. While there are some brides and grooms that may be calling off their weddings altogether, this is the exception and not the rule. Studies show that many of you engaged couples may be postponing your weddings but not putting them off indefinitely. We have seen many couples get married with only a small ceremony and no reception, and one or two years later after the wedding, hold a big reception with all of their family and friends. Right now, because of budget restraints you may have decided not to go with the most expensive centerpiece of the most expensive wedding gown. However, whatever your priorities are, those will tend to be where the majority of your budget goes. We see brides with a twelve thousand dollar budget spend ten thousand of it on their wedding dress, on their entertainment, or even on flowers because they want their guests to be awe struck when they walk into their reception. Reception guests will remember your wedding decor, how they were entertained, how well the food tasted, how beautiful your dress was, how nice your cake looked, etc. You also want to consider those things that will last the rest of your life such as your wedding photos, your rings, and your wedding video. What do you want your reception guests to remember most about your wedding day and what do you personally want to take away from the experience? What is important to you is what matters the most but be careful not to spend so much on those flowers that all you have to serve to your reception guests are beans and hotdogs. My advice to you is to have balance in your wedding expenses without indulging too much on one wedding item or service.
